The station has been given a new look by blending modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art passenger amenities with the rich cultural heritage of Bundelkhand. This station will now not only provide world-class facilities to passengers but also infuse new energy into the region's historical identity and tourism.

Named after the great Bundelkhand warrior Maharaja Chhatrasal, this railway station serves as a vital rail gateway for thousands of travelers visiting major tourist and religious destinations such as Khajuraho, Panna, and Orchha. Having long been a hub for the region's social, economic, and tourism activities, the station's transformation is now scripting a new story of development.
